How to Use MySpace Layouts

Premade MySpace layouts are a wonderful way to make your MySpace page stand out among the millions of other MySpace pages that are on the social networking website. Although these premade MySpace layouts can seem a bit intimidating at first, they are very easy to use and can turn your MySpace page from one of a million to one in a million very quickly. This article will give you a step-by-step guide to putting your own premade MySpace layout on your MySpace page.

1.) The first part of placing a premade MySpace layout on your MySpace page is the most fun part. This is where you can choose a number of MySpace premade layouts out of the millions of them that are available on the Internet. Simply go to Google and search for “Premade MySpace layouts.” Google will generate a list of millions of websites that offer these layouts and all you have to do is search through the sites to find one that you like the best!

2.) When you find the premade layout that you like the best, you can choose to “Preview” it or “Get the Code.” Both of these commands will be shown below the layout. Previewing the layout will allow you to see exactly how it will look on your page and is especially helpful if there is audio, video, or animation on the layout. Once you have decided that you like the way it looks, click on the “Get the Code” command and it will show you the code either in the same page or it will open a new window.

3.) Highlight the code by clicking on the code and scrolling down until the entire code is highlighted. Some sites will allow you to just click on the code and it will highlight the entire code for you. Once it is highlighted, you can then copy it by right-clicking on your mouse and choosing “Copy” or you can press “Control+C.”

4.) Then open a new browser and go to www.myspace.com. Login so you can view your own MySpace page. Once you are viewing your own profile, click on “Edit Profile.”

5.) Find the “About Me” section and paste the code into that section. You can paste by either right-clicking and choosing “Paste” or you can press “Control+V.”

6.) Lastly, all you have to do is choose “Save Changes” and the premade MySpace layout will now be visible on your page.

Change your premade MySpace layouts as often as you want to keep your page looking fresh and active. When you decide to change it, just follow the instruction above but first make sure to delete the code that is currently in your “About Me” section.
